The SCR3311 is SCM Microsystems’ new ergonomic smart card reader. The reader’s solid base ensures stability, even when using one hand to insert a smart card which makes it ideal for one-hand operations.

The smart card reader combines the latest technology with contemporary design. It includes support for USB and all relevant security standards; the interface is CCID and PS/SC as well as EMV2000 Level 1 compliant. The EMV certification recommends the reader especially for applications with banking or credit cards, e.g. e-Banking or e-Payment.

The SCR3311 is based on the STC II smart card interface chip with on-board flash. The on-board flash-memory enables seamless firmware upgrades in the field to adapt the reader to current requirements and prevent obsolescence.

Compact and attractive, the SCR3311 is available in various weight options, can be customized in color and case and can include a company logo.
